Description: Up for bidding is a vintage Southwest Airlines commemorative brass belt buckle, commemorating the IAH-DAL, or the George Bush Intercontinental airport to Dallas Love Field airport route in September of 1980. The buckle is in excellent cosmetic and functional condition, showing only signs of light wear on the belt swivel and prong, and a very small scratch on the left edge of the belt face. Made of brass, the buckle has a nice patina and was made in the USA by Koleaco. The front of the buckle reads "SOUTWEST AIRLINES IAH-DAL SEPT. 8, 1980" and the backside reads "That's love Southwest style! S27 D Koleaco USA". It measures 3 inches long and barely under 2 inches wide, the swivel measuring just under 1 3/4 inch at its widest. This rare commemorative buckle is ready to wear, or to be added to a collection.
