These are beautiful small transparent glass buttons that have a transparent paint on the underside of the button that makes the buttons look so whimsical. The buttons are not waterproof. The buttons measure 3/8 inches across and are 2 hole. I have sewn them to a trade card reproduced from the early 1900's. You will not be disappointed in these beautiful buttons. They are absolutely wonderful. These have never been used or been in circulation before. They are wonderful pieces of history that can only add to your crafting projects. These buttons have been stored since the 20's or earlier so time has stood still for them and they are in new condition.
