Description: This is a nice set of Target Home Ipanema melamine plates. The colors are reminiscent of the 1970's and 80's earth tones. Melamine has been around for a long time because it is lightweight, very durable and maintains vibrant colors well. These 4 plates are all in great condition without cigarette burns, chips, cracks or major flaws. Please see all detailed pictures and see just how wonderful this collection really is. The brown color of the stripes is a bit lighter than what the color in the pictures show. This set is great in the dishwasher or cleans up easily with hand washing. Melamine is not for use in the microwave as it will discolor or warp if placed in the microwave. I wouldn't try to cook anything on it in the regular oven either.
