They were a private commission designed and copyrighted by Pauline Ellison in 1975 through the Franklin Mint. Though our collection is not complete, it presents an opportunity for someone to obtain 10 of the 12 different plates all at one time, which helps to reduce the cost of shipping if you were collecting them one at a time. Included in this collection of ten plates are the following: Thumbelina, The Ugly Duckling, The Shepherdess and the Chimney Sweep, The Little Match Girl, The Princess and the Pea, The Red Shoes, The Steadfast Tin Soldier, The Tinder Box, The Emperor’s New Clothes and The Snow Queen. The two missing plates from this collection are The Little Mermaid and The Nightingale.A wonderful collection of plates that would enhance any cabinet!Please take the time to carefully examine all the photographs for more details. Measurements: Each plate measures approximately 7.5” across in diameter and stand approximately 1” off the table at the rim. Each plate weighs between 10 to 11 ounces. NO Chips, Cracks, Nicks, Hairlines, Crazing, Scratches, Stains, Repairs or Restorations were noted. Each plate is in excellent condition with no issues to note.
