Backstory for those interested: My 70-something-year-old mom moved back in with me during the global pandemic to be closer to family in 2020. She wasn’t used to staying indoors (as we all probably had some sort of adjustment period in 2020) and she was used to working, being on-the-go for decades, and staying busy. During the onset of our stay-at-home order era, I started to get my mom some puzzles to help her brain stay sharp and stimulated, while helping her filter out some of the heavy things we saw on the news on a daily basis. The puzzles were a new way my mom found joy during a time of ambiguity and loss, and we hope it brings you joy for you too!
