Description: Gorgeous Antique Ceiling Light Stunning original Miller hanging light. She has been restored and rewired and is ready for her new life with you. :) All the metal is non-magnetic, even the chain! Brass with an antique overlaid finish. New porcelain sockets added, as well as new wiring woven artistically through the chain links. The ceiling mount is marked Miller (see closeup). Four lovely antique ribbed shades with satin / matte finish. No chips or cracks in the shades - just tiny marks here or there in the glass, but nothing noticeable when in use (see closeups). Each of the 4 sockets uses a standard-base light bulb up to 100 watts, or use LED bulbs for any brightness you like, as they use low wattage for bright light. Light bulbs and ceiling mount screws not included. Here are details about the restorer: The late Bob Daly was a marathon runner and worked in his family's burglar alarm business until he started his own antique lighting restoration business in Fenton, Michigan in the 1980's: "Historic Lighting Restoration Services and Sales". He was restoring antique lighting for almost 40 years. This beautiful light was thoughtfully and skillfully restored by Bob to the tiniest detail. From new wiring to cleaning to touching up, buffing and polishing, Bob was a master at the details. He loved what he did and was excited to share these restored works of art with the next generation (see a newspaper article picture of him in photo #24). He worked with loving care, and you can be proud to own one of his restorative works of art.
