I have restored 850 vintage vises . This vise is in outstanding condition better paint. I replaced the dust cap and jaw screws. I took to metal used etching primer 3 coats of Metallic Hampsted Green with engine lacquer clear coat. so vise can withstand oils. I know the vise I restored it to better than new condition better paint vise is excellent .Remember that you get what you pay for. Buy once, or gamble by from seller who charges 3 x the actual shipping costs and knows nothing about vises and uses Al to describe what there selling you.
