They have been enlarged and enhanced so you may see everything. There is a Shield on the front and "5" in a circle of 13 stars on the back. The series started in 1867 with a Rays variety for 2 years and ended in 1883 with the start of the "V" Liberty Nickel series. The coin in the scans is the actual coin you will receive.
