Hocking made the elephant as a special order for a perfume company. It originally came filled with perfumed bath salts. The elephant is in normal used condition with no missing parts or cracks. Due to normal use after almost 100 years, there are some chips and flakes along the top of the bottom and one on the top of the lid. There are minor scratches from normal use and a slight discoloration from the bath salts on the inside. We feel this piece is in better than normally found condition.
