Description: RARE! Autographed MICHAEL JACKSON FIVE 5 8X10 Publicity Photograph MOTOWN c 1970. You can bet I was excited when I spotted this incredible find at a local estate sale! What a rare piece of American music history--an 8x10 glossy Motown publicity photo, signed in blue ballpoint pen by all five Jackson brothers! A couple even signed twice! It was also dedicated "To Nancy Lescher" with a blue felt-tip. As cool as it is to have all five signatures, of course Michael's is the main attraction here. It's so awesome to think of a young Michael Jackson--already a major star at only about 12 years old--taking pen in hand and proudly signing his name across his chest, probably never dreaming of the absolute legend he would someday become, despite his early success. Although this super-scarce piece of pop-culture history presents very well, it's over 50 years old, so there are some condition issues to report. The photo was stored in an old-fashioned "magnetic" album, and its back has adhered to the tacky page. It could probably be carefully removed, but I didn't try. The loose clear plastic film covering the front could easily be removed and the photo could then be framed still on the backing if necessary. There is a small damp stain in the lower right corner, and small patches of the emulsion on Jermaine's leg became stuck to the plastic film covering and lifted off. Edge and corner wear and small losses can be seen in my pictures, and there are a number of fine hairline cracks or creases on the surface, most notably running diagonally across Michael's shoulder from upper left. These are a result of age, and are not that noticeable unless you look at the photo from an angle in the right light. Studying the pictures I've provided is the best way to assess these issues, and of course ill be happy to answer any questions you may have.
