Rare 1930s Art Deco 11 ½” Pale Amethyst Bohemia Czech Cut-to-Clear Crystal Vase

Description: Rare 1930s Art Deco 11 ½” Pale Amethyst Bohemia Czech Cut-to-Clear Crystal Vase This gorgeous, heavy, intricate, cut-to-clear pale amethyst Art Deco Czech vase was created in the early 1930s, and is similar in design to the early work that inspired Karel Wunsch. I have not been able to find anything identical to this piece in my research. The facets are crisp and clean, and the bottom has a carved star pattern, indicating that this is an early work from the Bohemia region. This stunning vase weighs 3 pounds .5 ounces, is 11 ½” tall and has a 3 1/2” diameter at its mouth and base. This is in beautiful vintage condition, but does have some age-appropriate imperfections in the form of tiny, hard-to-see fleabites on the edges of a few facets. There also seems to be a few bits of ash trapped in the glass at the mouth, which is common in hand blown glass, and very slight water stains toward the upper third of the inside. Again, very hard to notice, but I feel it’s right to mention.
