"The Life of Verdi" stars Ronald Pickup in the title role and features an international cast in the epic production by Italian director and writer of the saga, Renato Castellani. Burt Lancaster narrates and hosts the six-part series, which was filmed on location in various locales including London, Milan, Paris, Venice and Leningrad.
