If you have a set of four 140 HP carbs, I have another auction for them that is a bit less expensive for all four.Please wait until you are almost ready to ship your carbs to me. Then buy the auction and I will send you specific instructions on how to get them here quickly and safely. It doesn't matter which year or if you are even sure it they are correct as that all will be fixed on my end. My turn around is usually just a couple of days. The long lead time in the auction is for you to get your carbs to me and allow me to meet eBay's shipping requirements and give you extra time to get your old ones off and packaged. You can have your carbs back within about a week if you are diligent in shipping them. Your new carbs will flow better about 15% than stock and be more responsive to tuning and engine demand. All restrictions in the throat are removed before it is polished. Larger jets are installed to keep the air/fuel ratio in spec. Choke and throttle shafts are thinned by 50% and all excess metal is removed from the venturi clusters. As a result, your power curve is raised and you will get better top end at lower rpm. Lifetime high flow fuel filter screens (originally found in QJets) replace the restrictive bronze ones. They will have the best available gaskets and parts as well as new Ethanol-proof accelerator pumps (newly available) and gaskets. Carbs are set up and adjusted to eliminate most, if not all, synchronization procedures. Any problems with mis-matched parts will be corrected so everything will be matched and correct for your engine, including idle emulsion and vent tubes, enrichment circuit jets, NEW main metering jets, all air bleeds, and of course, venturi clusters (there are 28 different ones). NEW accelerator pump levers and bright plated rods will be added to take up ALL of the slop in your carb linkage system. The carbs will have .101" fuel inlet seats (stock is .086") with new Viton (ethanol-proof) tipped inlet needles. You will get a complete set of new Steel Fasteners. Your carbs will be recolored in OEM tones like the photo (yes, they really did look like this from the factory) and returned with 4 base gaskets and new vacuum plug. This service does not include the plastic choke vacuum pull offs or plastic base insulators, as most customers do not need them. Please don't send them, as they will likely get damaged in transit and can require a larger box. If you use a USPS Medium Priority Mail Flat Rate Box, your carbs can be shipped for around $15 and arrive in 2-3 days. If sending from out of the USA, I will reduce the return postage cost by $15 for you, but it will probably be cheaper to just buy some new ones in a direct purchase auction.
