Description: Pair: circa 1895 porcelain plates, - “Marx & Gutherz, Carlsbad, Austria”, - overall blue transfer decorated, - cherubs with ribbons and roses, - evergreen sprigs around scroll and flute design blank, - one factory signed and both with decorators marks. 7.5” dia, .75” tall. Condition – nominal wear, One (right)- excellent, no damage. One (left)- crowfoot crack in center, underside rim chip, kiln glaze mark-dark spot (photos 9-11). h1030 - Marx & Gutherz, Carlsbad, Austria (1884-1898). aka Royal Austria Factory.
