Description: One pair of Vintage Jensen C12SL 12" Instrument Guitar Stereo Alnico Speaker 1950s in good condition for their age. Made in Chicago, USA. They came out of a Harman Kardon stereo console from 1958. They are steady at 6 Ohms. There is one spot on one of the speakers where the paper cone is wearing thin. On the same cone, there is a tiny hole that does not go all the way through. There is a line that goes from the edge to the center of the cone on both speakers. Both lines are on the same spot on either speaker. I believe that was part of the manufacturing process of the 1950s. Please see the pictures and close-ups. Both speaker have a few holes in the center and have no dust caps. This is how I found them inside a stereo console. My asking price reflects the condition of the speakers. Remember: these vintage Jensen speakers are low wattage. They do not play very loud. They need to be impedance matched with a low wattage vacuum tube amplifier. They were connected to a HK Festival receiver, the first stereo receiver in history (vacuum tube), inside a beautiful wood console. I cut off most of the length of the old wires attached to the speaker terminals to prevent damage during shipping. I packed these speakers in empty 12" car subwoofer boxes. That was after putting each C12SL in a bubble bag to protect it from moisture or condensation during shipping. They will be double-boxed for safe delivery. They will travel together in one 16" cube heavy duty brand-new box. Thank you for your interest. Alex
