Description: Brass shows signs of tarnish. The linkage piece between the tender and loco gearbox has broken and will need to be rebuilt. Often folks use clear plastic tubing for this. Box is near mint considering the age and just a slight corner gave way that is taped from the inside. Sold AS-IS! All vintage brass models from this time period typically need some tweaking and tuning to achieve optimal performance. Keep in mind she has a frame type motor and a tender drive. Most modelers will want to upgrade the motor/mechanism to a can or coreless motor perhaps located in the boiler leaving the tender open for possibly DCC Decoder and Speaker. Originally this was my plan but I fell into another #20 that was already custom painted for my Florence & Cripple Creek so I really cannot justify keeping this particular model. She will make an excellent addition in any collection!
