NES -001 Nintendo Entertainment Deck Console, ORIGINAL Box, Tested, Works, 1987

Description: UPDATE: I added a video and replaced 3 photos. The prior photos were not of the right quality/clear. NES-001. VINTAGE. A nice old complete and original NES-001 system. It has never been listed before. Box has a date of 1987. Some items show 1985. I tested the console, and it still works. See photos. Red light comes on and blinks. Screen lights up when cartridge is inserted. See the screen shots of two games. (I used an older screen to test.) Mario game and Chess-master both worked. This is fresh from a long, dry storage in an air-conditioned, and smoke free home. This was played with gently and sparingly I see minimal defects or issues for the age. There is a nick on the Mario cartridge label. It is small and less than 1/4 inch. It is in the upper left of the cartridge photo. Chess-master cartridge looks like new. Dust covers on cartridges are not there. There is an after market accessory bag that the cartridges were stored in for years and it kept them dust free. It will be included. The main cardboard box looks great for the age. See front and back photos. It has some damage on the ends/corners from long storage. See photos. The end of the box with the words "NO ONE CREATES HITS" has a side gap, and a ding at the top. Another close up shows some damage at the bottom. Also visible when looking at rear of the box. No repairs were made. The box has some very slight issues with color fading in some areas on the box due to age. There are NO inserts of styro-foam or similar packaging. The console deck unit was wiped off with cloth. The back of the controllers show some yellowing. See photos. I did NOT try to clean. I think it may come off but elected to leave it as found. The power pack is original and shows NINTENTDO as do the controllers. The red, yellow and white video/audio cables work. They may, or may not, be the original. They were in the box with all the rest for many years. We feel it is priced right but of course reasonable offers considered. We will pack with great care. This has never been listed before. We seldom sell electronics. We have a good rating on EBAY. For old electronics we do not feel it is fair to expect us to guarantee it for a period of 30 days etc. Within 24 hours of receipt if there is an issue with it working, please advise us so we can discuss and resolve. No refunds after the initial 24 hour arrival window. There is no instruction manual. I used the reset button on the console when an issue arose.
