I've used this model on many remote work sites during the Colorado winter. They hold up well and offer decent traction on anything but iced up surfaces. Fortunately, the toe and heel design hold on to traction devices well. I find the width to be sufficient for a liner and heavy sock for a 13 lightly wide foot. They "break" pretty much wherever you need them to as compared to a more structured traditional steel toe boot where the break might work for your foot configuration or maybe not. Nicely voluminous Toe Box (width and vertical depth). I've, thankfully, experienced no toe rub issues with these, as I have with many other steel toe boots. Very nice thick mesh antimicrobial lining. With a little powder and a wool outer sock, you can pretty much completely avoid the neoprene boot feel. Ask as needed. Best of luck.
