Description: A moose antler that has been "sliced" and holes drilled by Joe Obed, Inuit has been into a dream catcher style necklace. This one has a red coral stone at center of web inside. 4th photo shows side of antler.. brown colored and rough ... while this photo is of different piece .. the side of this piece is very similar to what is shown.. brown rough antler side is not shown when you look at piece straight on as in first 3 photos. The antler is from near the tip of a "point" .. This is roughly 2.25" long and 1" across. The webbing is faux sinew and it is strung on a cord of "rattail". Cord is 13.5" long from center back to attachment at antler pendant. Joe has knotted the cord in a way that you can either make it shorter or longer. The "dream catcher" style webbing inside the antler slice is fashioned after the dream catchers that are made to prevent the bad dreams from getting through while capturing the good dreams and channeling that energy into the person's life. These were hung above cradles and beds.... and were inspired by the spider webs that sometimes appear in the morning on the grass and show up when dew forms on them overnight. Last photo is of Joe Obed with one of his eagle sculptures made from a moose antler. Found this recently as I began cleaning out boxes etc from my storage area ... Will be adding more random items that are emerging from assorted stored containers. If you purchase more than 1 item from me... put all in 1 cart and pay for all at 1 time. You will save on shipping - If you haven't done this and buy 2 or more items at nearly same time ... IF I can put them all in same box I will refund you any excess shipping charges and email you that I have done so.
