It has a transmission date of June 16, 1866 and was published around then. It is Ex document no. 55 from the 39th Congress first session. Book, document is numbered beginning with page 2 (after the into page) to page 64. Document is complete. Content of document concerns legislation to resettle blacks from Washington, DC to Liberia, Haiti and Central America. Overall in good condition. No printing information and the document begins with the title page as shown and ends as the document ends on page 64. Likely was once bound with other documents. Some pencil notes to front page, light wear, browning and small nicks and creases. Document beginning to become disconnected at spine. Very scarce immediate post Civil War material.
