It is labeled Technics . Very rare . works. has a scar across front. from web for info only: MCS (Modular Component Systems) was the house brand stereo equipment of the JC Penney department store chain. JC Penney did an outstanding job outsourcing their electronic equipment to a variety of major electronics manufacturers. The #683-8322 honeycomb disc 3 way linear phase speaker was subcontracted to Technics and is a Technics SB-X500 with the tweeter level control and port switched to the opposite side of the baffle, higher quality standard.
