Description: If you remember these books from back when you were a youthful reader and are looking for something to pass on to the younger generation, here is a complete set with true collector value. These are not reprints from the 1990s but actual vintage books with their dustjackets. The Hardy Boys were printed with dustjackets between 1928 and 1961. As any knowledgeable collector will tell you, the price guides say that the dustjackets alone are worth twice the value of the books without the dustjacket. I have sold hundreds of Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys sets on eBay over the last 10 years and know how to grade and pack your books. When you buy a set described in good condition from me and then take it to a local independent book dealer for an appraisal, you should expect that the dealer will agree that the set is in what book collectors call good condition. Good condition means that the book is complete and is not missing any pages nor does it have loose or detached pages. Good means that the binding is holding together but the book may show various forms of wear and evidence of markings, stickers, labels or bookplate from a previous owner, fading, tanning, soiling, etc. Books will be sent well packed and fully insured via media mail. While I cannot control what the USPS does with your parcel once it is in their custody, I pack the books to withstand less than ideal handling and fully insure the books in case your parcel is lost or stolen. I maintain my 100% feedback score on eBay the old fashioned way--I EARN it. Priority mail will cost an additional $25 for shipping and will usually be sent in USPS supplied packing. Please check your mailing address before you place your order as I cannot change the shipping once your order goes through eBay. If I in good faith mail the books to an address where you no no longer live or work, then you will have to pay for both the return postage and the postage to resend the books to you.
