Loretta Lynn: They Don't Make 'Em Like My Daddy 1974 MCA Gloversville Press VG+

Description: For sale is a 45 RPM vinyl single from Loretta Lynn titled "They Don't Make 'Em Like My Daddy b/w Nothin'", originally released in 1974 by MCA Records. I bought this single used, professionaly cleaned it on my VPI HW-17 machine and immediately put it into an archival inner sleeve, then it was put into a storage box for seven inch 45 RPM vinyl records, that was kept under optimum conditions for both temperature and humidity until today. The inner sleeve is graded as Very Good Plus because of some wrinkles and tears along the sleeve's opening and a small tear along the center hole. In the dead wax between the labels and the last track is machine stamped a "G" between two boxes (<>-G-<>), followed by the matrix numbers W-2/W-1, indicating that early stampers were used to make this record at MCA's pressing plant, located in Gloversville, New York. These are hallmarks of state-of-the-art engineering, sought after by collectors and music lovers for their superior sound quality. The vinyl is visually graded as Very Good because of superficial sleeve marks and hairlines, none of which can be felt with a fingertip. I'm play grading this record as Very Good Plus because of some low level surface noise. It plays all the way through without any pops, lock-ups or skips from start to finish. You would be hard pressed to find a copy of this record in this condition, especially a Gloversville pressing. This would be a welcome addition to anyone's collection.
