It features Red and Blue woven and blue trim, one stationary handle and pewter commemorative tag. This basket was originally offered with a liner, protector and tie-on. The combo included the liner and protector. This was the introduction of the new Inaugural liner. The basket measures 5.5RD 3.25H. This is a beautiful set, still has vibrant color and is very clean, no stains, broken splints or chipped splints. The Longaberger Company, Dresden Ohio, created handwoven baskets out of hardwood maple sourced from the US, pottery, hand-forged wrought iron and other items for over forty years, from 1973 to 2018. Longaberger baskets were handwoven baskets and initialed by the artisan who created them. At the height of the company’s popularity there were over 4,000 weavers and over 70,000 home consultants.
