Description: I am offering a Lionel A Christmas Story Plastic Train Set. This is G scale. These are used items. I did not see any cracks, chips or breaks in the tracks or cars. There is a locomotive, coal car, box car, caboose, 18 pieces of curved track, 10 pieces of straight track. The original set came with 12 curved pieces and 4 straight pieces, so there are 12 extras. There is no remote. When I put the batteries in the coal car and connected it to the locomotive, the light in the back of the loco lit up and it started making noise. It did not move, when I pushed the button. It may need a remote for movement. Batteries required for operation and are not included. The coal car is missing the top and the box car is missing the crate with the leg lamp. Original box is not available. All train items are from my father's estate.
