The Quikbox design solves the problem by using an internal diffuser to minimize the possibility of hotspots from the strobe source while the recessed front face helps to control spill light. The Quikbox requires separate purchase or use of a standard speed ring insert matched to your brand of strobe head.Note: all standard speedrings have 2 parts that can be separated: the outer support ring that accepts the softbox poles and the inner insert with your strobe's mount.
