This listing is for a huge, 20 inch diameter, hand painted charger of a wedding scene. I would guess that it dates from the late 19th century based on the age of the attached hanger. The scene is a beautifully hand painted wedding party in a garden on the edge of town. Please enlarge all of the photographs to truly appreciate the magnificence of this rare and unusual piece. It has been signed by the artist as photographed, M Legrand. I believe the piece is probably French Faience or Sarreguemines. I’d be happy to hear any thoughts that you may have.
