This is a Very Attractive Embroidered Symbolic Masonic Past Master Apron. The Purple color designates a Grand Lodge Officer. The core of the Apron is either a White Silk or Satin material. As there are no inscriptions, markings or labels, we know nothing of its history. Although the Apron appears to be a relatively recently made item, it came to us described as being vintage. The condition is indeed very good, all nice and clean. But the clue to it being vintage is that the fringes need to be ironed straight as a result of the apron having been stored in a suitcase for a number of years. So there you have it. The photos tell you everything. The apron measures approximately 16 x 14 inches with fringes.
