The cap is not the zamak type - those weigh between 9 and 10 grams. This one is 14 g. This one has decent plating on the cap and bottom plate. Bottom plate is one of the nicer ones I have seen - the little marks along the guard are clean and crisp. No gouging or rust or flaking. The cap has a small ding on the face, but it’s not that bad - see pics. Threads are nice and clean. Can get 4-4.5 turns before it snugs up - the handle is nice and tight - no wobbles. some handles I’ve had were somewhat loose, I hate those. Was going to keep this one - but I’m selling off the vintage stuff I have - I just don’t use this one enough - it needs some love.
