Joe and Cobra send forces to secure the island. Outback, Ripcord and Wild Bill lead the Joe mission, while Dr. Mindbender and Firefly lead the Cobra mission. Cobra Commander wants the island secured before an armored squadron arrives. The Joes face heavy attacks from Cobra forces, including B.A.T.s, Mambas, and Maggots.Despite the heavy attacks, the Joes successfully defend the high ground. Hit & Run predicts the Maggots won't have the right elevation to drop artillery rounds on them, and the first salvo overshoots. Firefly convinces Mindbender to give him control and fires at the lip of the cliff top, blowing away the Joes' cover. Lift-Ticket and Ghostrider arrive, and Ghostrider manages to track a BUGG's radar and destroy it. Lift-Ticket drops the Rolling Thunder with Rumbler and Duke onboard before they both pull out. The Rolling Thunder decimates the Maggots, while the Cobra ground troops continue to climb the cliff.BAT reinforcements arrive, but most are knocked straight off the island when they land due to increasing tremors. The Joes are now heavily outnumbered and under attack from all sides, but the island is sinking. The Rolling Thunder gets ahead of the rising water level as Mindbender and Firefly find themselves in the water. Rolling Thunder demolishes the last of the BATs, and the Joes climb onboard as Lift-Ticker returns to winch them clear. The island disappears beneath the waves, leaving the Cobras floundering in the sea.In conclusion, the story features a high-stakes battle between G.I. Joe and Cobra forces to secure a new island. Despite the overwhelming odds, the Joes successfully defend the high ground against Cobra's heavy attacks. With the island sinking, both sides make a desperate attempt to escape, with the Joes ultimately emerging victorious. Please Be Sure To Check Out My Ebay Store!
