Description: A large German 8 Day Westminster chimes bracket clock in working order and keeping good time it chimes every quarter and the relevant amount of strikes on the hour there is also a silent mode if required. The brown stained mahogany case stands16" high, 11" wide and 7 1/2" deep at the base to the front the arched silvered, arched dial is decoratively engraved the dial has black Arabic numbers above this 2 smaller subsidiary dials one to regulate the time faster or slower the second for the Westminster chimes or silent mode, the dial is covered by a locking door with bevelled glass the door locked by the clock key. Internally the large brass movement is numbered and stamped with the German maker Kienzle it comes with its pendulum and original key . please have a look at all the photographs and see what you think if you have any questions or require further photographs please email me, please note that due to the age of the clock the case does show signs of aging and wear, the brown stained finish shows crazing, wear in places some scratches and dinks I have tried to show this in the final photographs.
