Fotorgear Magilight (1st Gen) - RARE 144 RGB LED 3.3ft Light Painting Stick Tool

Description: Previously owned Magilight by Fotorgear. This is a 3.3 ft (100 cm) 144 LED RGB light painting tool. It's very similar to the Pixelstick except it's shorter in length, uses a microSD card, and is powered by two 26350 batteries. This device is no longer being sold by Fotorgear and is now a rare item for light painting enthusiasts. It works by scanning a BMP image file off a microSD card during long exposure photography. As you walk with the stick in front of the camera, the LEDs will "paint" the corresponding pixels from the BMP file. It's next-level light painting! I also ordered the Mini LED Bar a month later. This is the 1st Generation version of the Magilight which uses a 3.5mm headphone jack to connect the handle to the LED bar. The 2nd Gen uses a network cable port instead. The reason I'm selling it is because I've retired from light painting as a hobby. The Magilight is in Very Good condition. There's minimal wear and tear. I didn't get much use out of it before the pandemic hit. The carrying case is in very good condition. I've included another pair of 26350 batteries (red) because the original ones (black) from Fotorgear were starting to go bad. The firmware is already current at v3.4. The 256MB microSD card contains all of the official image packs provided by Fotorgear (although you can download them again from their website).
