They are made to look antique and have that wood carved look. These pieces will not chip or break as they are made with a special formulated polymer that captures the fine details. The master sculptor of these pieces is Elio Simonetti. The production of these pieces are from sculpture, to moulding, to painting. This set has a box (not in tip-top condition but useable). It does not have the booklet/card that goes along with it. These figurines are 'perfect' for children to create their own creche for the family.
