This engine is in excellent mechanical condition but, as you can see, it was never painted.Please watch the video from the air test and listen to it purr. It's amazing and seldom achieved on a single cylinder.From experience, when an engine runs so smoothly, it was either built by a master machinist or it was factory machined in England by Stuart. As a "ready to run" factory made engine would have been painted with the Stuart colors, it is safe to consider that the kit was likely purchased already machined.
