It has been air tested (video) and should not give much trouble to operate on steam.It was steamed up but obviously cared for and well lubricated.Considering that the painting design is not exactly the same as the one used by Stuart for the ready to run engines, I guess that it was a factory machined kit that was assembled well, as it purrs on air testing. It takes a very qualified machinist to reach such a level of precision. Please note that it comes with the optional two cylinder valves.There is hardly any corrosion and you might appreciate the patina that it has acquired over the years. That was 65 years ago. I have been collecting them for 25 years and I am now 74. None of my descendants is interested in the collection, so I decided that it was time to liquidate.
