Beautiful FRONTIER Pattern. This listing is for this antique, Victorian era, tall pedestal cake stand made by New Martinsville Glass Manufacturing Company in 1911. The pattern name is Frontier aka Colonial & Mitre. It was their No. 718 pattern. The cake stand measures 4 3/4" tall and is 9 1/2" across at the upturned icing lip rim, with an inside plate area of 9" diameter. the octagon foot is 5 1/2" across. Excellent condition with no chips, cracks, repairs. Not even any roughness on the edges of rim or foot. there are utensil scratches, more in the center where the knife would have rested on the glass to cut through the cake or pies. only really noticeable when held to the light, does not discolor the glass in anyway. Condition: Pre-Owned Like New
