Description: HINGED DUST DEFLECTOR PLATE FOR IN FRONT OF THE DRIVE DRUM ON A VINTAGE DELTA 6 X 48 BELT SANDER This is the hard-to-find deflector that mounts to the lower dust chute, below the work table. Like many of the parts we need, if we can’t find it and buy it, then we make it. This all new dust deflector is a two piece TIG welded assembly. It consists of a curved steel plate and a drilled and tapped steel shaft shaft. Once the deflectors are fabricated and test fit, they are then sanded and prime painted gray….ready for finish painting to match the Owner’s machine. The deflector mounts to the dust chute in the same manner as the OEM deflector. Two (2) 6-32 x ¾ stainless steel socket head screws are included with each deflector.
