It has a few dents, dings and scratches. The black writing on the bat to show the logo does have some of the black scratched off. But, you can clearly read the 8.2L FUEL PINCHER and DIESEL writing. It also says "Go To Bat With a Winner" as a slogan. The pen works sometimes. It DOES NOT write clearly all the time. But, you can get ink out of it when you use it. I do not know the age of the pen. I can't seem to find another one for sale or on the internet through searching. It could be rare or common? I do not know. It is 8 1/4" long from the tip of the pen to the end of the bat.
