Description: This journal is made of high quality paper, with sturdy covers, printed in Wisconsin. Resources in My Writing Book Two include a genre chart, a blank word wall (adults can add words as students need them), and language/word usage instruction. It is standard letter size, 8 1/2 by 11", with 64 pages. The pages are not perforated, or intended to be removed from the book. Book Two refers to the fact that it is for older students- it doesn't mean second grade. Bulk pricing is available for classroom teachers and homeschooling groups. The Clever Kiwi Line: Clever Kiwi USA prints eight titles for children, generally grades K-6. Three are writing journals, two are for math work, one is a reading response journal, and one teaches handwriting. The last journal, called The Adventurer, can be used by anyone, for about anything! About Us: A little about the publisher of this product- a small U.S. business called Clever Kiwi USA. Clever Kiwi USA was started by me, a retired teacher who happened to travel to New Zealand at back-to-school time. While perusing the shops, I saw journals (called ‘exercise books’ over there) that were obviously developed with children in mind. There was no comparison between those products and the spiral notebooks available to families at home. After that ‘aha’ moment, Clever Kiwi USA, an offshoot of the original New Zealand company, was born! Our mission is to encourage students' natural creativity, growth, and curiosity.
