Description: In very good condition for its age. The only marking I can find is an "H". If it had "US" it has worn off, I don't know. See close-up photos. Scabbard is good condition. Bayonet is 20 1/2" overall length. Sold as is, no returns. I bought this on eBay auction to fit of my Springfield 1863 but is is too small for barrel. My research shows this is a Model 1973 as a penny will not pass thru, so I need a Model 1855 for my gun. I am certainly no expert. Hoping to get my money back so I can purchase the correct one I need. Thanks for looking and bidding.
