Description: I don’t know a lot of this painting. Signed but I can’t read the signature well to know who painted it. It looks like an Italian painting. I’ve seen one with the same signature and different subject matter here on eBay on another’s listing with an actual stamp on the canvas. But since this is professionally framed, I did not want to take the paper backing off to check. Theirs said it was an artist from Capri, Italy. Very vibrant oil colors. This is one of my favorite paintings I’ve had hanging in the house. Not heavily textured oil but still textured nonetheless. Very beautiful scene depicting women in a village with beautiful flowers hanging from the window box. The frame looks like folk art, arts and craft style. The frame itself is stamped on the back Illinois Moulding Company, Chicago 8, Illinois, Made in the USA. I’m definitely sure that’s for the framing itself. Theres some gold that has rubbed off the back of the frame, some crumpling of the paper backing and a tear that I pointed out. That’s all on the back of the frame and not noticeable. A few little chunks on the frame front I pointed out. But that’s from years and years of the painting frame’s life. All in all very good vintage condition for this beautiful painting. 16” tall, 10” width with 3” depth.
