Here is a ceramic inkwell encased by a pewter holder. It cannot be removed. There are 4 quill holes in the top. It measures 3 inches in diameter on the base, 2.75 inches at the top and 1.75 inches tall. The pewter base has some dents, mainly on the bottom but no major corrosion issues. Very neat, probably 1860s era inkwell which would have gone on a desk or even a ship. Buyer to pay FREE SHIPPING, more internationally or elsewhere.
