Description: ANOTHER STUPENDOUS ROLEX WATCH FIND FROM TIMEISPRECIOUS. A GORGEOUS AND EXTREMELY RARE CIRCA 1930'S 15 JEWEL GENUINE QUALITY MANS ROLEX STEEL CASED MID SIZED RARER ‘PRIMA’ WRIST WATCH WITH A BEAUTIFUL ORIGINAL DIAL!! SERVICED AND READY TO WEAR!! CASE: This is a lovely original and rare 2 piece genuine CURVED BACK ROLEX SQUARE cased STEEL bezel and back watch case with fixed lugs. The case is in good original condition, showing light marks to the bezel which is consummate with age. The steel case back shows some normal age related marks and a few dings and is numbered. The case back snaps in well. The inside of the case is beautifully engraved with the wording ‘ROLEX 25 RECORDS UNIVERSELS GENEVE SUISSE' and the SAR mark as well. The case is also numbered. The case measures 2.8cms (28mm) across excluding the crown such as most Art deco watches of the era were. It is of good quality as you would expect from the ROLEX brand. DIAL: This is a wonderful and ORIGINAL ROLEX dial. The dial is white with a beautiful aged patina and is in beautiful condition. It is FULLY SIGNED 'ROLEX'. All of the black painted Arabic numerals are in very good condition. The dial has a gorgeous black painted outer minute track. The dial has 2 blued steel hands which look to be in good condition, showing just a little oxidisation. The GLASS crystal seems to be original to the watch and as such shows some marks here and there but nothing which detriments the look of the watch when on the wrist in my opinion. MOVEMENT: This is a wonderful genuine ROLEX PRIMA high grade quality 15 jewel SIGNED movement. It is FULLY signed It has the word 'ROLEX' in a beautiful typesetting and is also signed on the mainspring barrel wheel too. This is a high quality Rolex made movement with a lovely compensated balance and overcoiled blued steel hairspring. This fantastic movement is in working order, and is running well. It has been serviced by my watchmaker. I have timed it over 24 hours and it keeps time to about 1 minute per day. The watch winds really smoothly for its age and sets easily. The crown is white metal in color and may be a later replacement. BAND: This beautiful timepiece is fitted with brand new black leather band 16mm open ended. As such it is in minty condition and compliments this lovely ROLEX wrist watch superbly! THIS IS A FANTASTIC ORIGINAL AND EXTREMELY RARE ROLEX WRISTWATCH IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.
