Description: Adorable Skippy the Dog by Boyd’s Crystal Art Glass in color #27, Carmel - a rich, warm brown slag. Boyd only produced a color in a given mould for one day - this Skippy was made on 10/5 1985. The Skippy figurine stands 3 1/4” high and depicts a fluffy puppy (Cocker Spaniel? Poodle? Terrier?), playing with a ball. It is really a cute piece - only made in 43 colors and highly collectible! This figurine is genuine Boyd, marked with the letter “B” in a diamond with one line underneath, indicating that it was made during Boyd’s 2nd five years in business. It is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
