This cable can be only used to connect between particular MPP Solar inverters which support BMS with particular Pylontech battery BMS system.If you are not sure, send us a question and include a photo of the inverter's serial label and we can check. This cable has a special customized pinout so please DO NOT use any other cable to substitute, otherwise, the unit will show fault code. Please do not use this with other generic clones or copies as compatibility is NOT guaranteed and it would be buyer's own risk. HOW DOES IT WORK? Before connecting this BMS cable please make sure: 1. all the inverters are 100% authentic "MPP solar" inverter and they are 48v system. 2. This feature only works on 5048GK and 5048MK produced after January 2019. If you are not sure, send us a question and include a photo of the inverter's serial label and we can check. 3. connect the BMS cable between the BMS port of inverter and RS485 port of Pylontech.
