Description: Vintage Hand Painted Black Lacquer Plate and Minature Box. Gold highlights, beautifully detailed flowers and bluebird on both plate and box. Box has fabric hinge and set inside lid. Plate is 5.5" in diameter. Plate back has inscription (see pic). I can make out "M_ Esther" "9-I-1982" "Pazeu___" My research showed very similarly painted wares/plates from Eastern Europe and from Mexico, and the inscriptions don't clarify which country it might be from.
