Mr. Sweet gave me a tour in 2018 and immediately identified in the names of the women in the photo like he knew them personally! Very nice gentleman with an extraordinary museum! My research confirmed what he knew at first glance. The problem today is, too many fakes and BS claims that ruin it for the real deals that do exist. Certainly, William H Bonney had his photo taken more than once. Here we see him shortly after the murder of John Tunstall. Bonney was said to be educated and handsome, with manners towards the ladies. This was his mother's doing no doubt, but he became that disheveled wreck we all know after becoming a hunted man on the run. This image if given a fair shake would command $6 million all day long. However, self-proclaimed experts no longer care about keeping the historical record accurate, instead they only care about MONEY.
