Description: I got this box set of the stereo version of the complete nine symphonies of Beethoven when I worked at a radio station in the 60s. The set is from 1965 and contains seven LPs and a booklet. These were demo discs that apparently were rarely if ever used judging by the condition of the center hole (they look like a turntable spindle was never inserted) and the condition of the vinyl. If you want photos of the vinyl or close-ups of the center holes, please ask! The cover is in excellent shape with a few minor scuffs and fraying here and there; and some feint dark spots. The booklet is immaculate—probably never ever taken out until now. The discs do have a “demo” sticker on them. The sleeves are paper and not poly vinyl. Please also see all the photos that show all of this and are part of this description. This item has been stored in a climate-controlled, indoor environment. As with most original vintage items, it's not possible to offer a guarantee. Because of the “demo” stickers on the label and the paper sleeves, this set is priced accordingly.
