Barbary Pirates USMC Marine Corps ANTIQUE TULWAR SWORD ISLAMIC

Description: Here's a really unusual sword I got my hands on. Sword came out of a small town museum in eastern Pa. It sure does look like the template the Marine Officer sword would have been drawn from. Other Tulwar swords I saw online did not look as clearly related to our Marine Officer sword which was designed off a sword taken from Tripoli. Anyway, this sword sports some sort of bone handle with silver inlay. Blade is hand forged but not anything exceptional. The Marine Corps history thing can't be proven but it is pretty cool.
