The Snap-Switch turnout can also be thrown manually using the small sliding lever on the switch machine. The 18" radius turnout also includes a 1/3 18" radius curve compensator track so for planning it equals one 18" curved section, or turn it so it creates a parallel track. Hook up wire, switch extender and mounting hardware is also included.The track geometry of Code 100 track matches that of Code 83 Snap Track, so Code 100 track can be substituted for Code 83 in various Snap Track track plans when using adaptor track joiners (sold separately).
